Update on Ron
Always sad to know a fellow diorama builder has passed. Gonna miss his native communication with his band of workers...were they Jamaicans or South Africans? Oh and his plane chucking as well. RIP Ron Wabble aka Richard -

Okay, did page 2 so now all back to the original large images. Coincidentally there are other Spit builds currently for a running GB but I can't join as mine is not a new kit from scratch on day one of the GB but a pre covid build. Will see if I can continue building it. Cheers, Wabble- rtfoe

Tamiya 1/72 Junkers Ju87G-2 Stuka
Very nicely done Joe. Looking as deadly as it did in its prime and rather large for a 1/72 scale. Jim, you're not far off as in real life it was quite a large aircraft. Being heavy and singled engine it was a sitting duck in the air in dog fights. The added siren made it terrifying indeed...- rtfoe

Hi Nina, I know what you mean. The latest fad that has come out are decals that are applied in reverse of the usual slide on technique. Instead of the film being at the bottom, it is on the top and after the decal is set you peel away the top film leaving the print behind. Haven't tried but...- rtfoe

Hi, Clear parts are always treated with caution when fitted. Even after sanding the mating parts there still some gaps. I found that Magic Sculpt or shims of plastic strip covered large gaps. Masking tape protected the parts when sanding. Plastic putty is used only when tiny gaps show through...- rtfoe
