Some nice work going into your costume Si, sounds like you will have a great time at the comic convention (is that what comic con is short for?).


BTW if you ever went into stage work your beard suits a Henry VIII character, awesome Si

Thanks Joe, yes comic-con is short for comic convention, although it is rarely just about comics (books) now.


And most kind you like the facial fuzz and the costume, hopefully it will be all complete by a week on Saturday. If not the faithful Star Trek away team jacket will be out...again.

You know something Moni, overheating is something that I am worried about-it gets very warm at these does and this costume is very warm to wear...you never know I may loose some of the gut


Worst thing is...I bolted the face mask to a three quarter head neoprene mask...maybe not such a good idea

Yep, plenty of water and going outside me thinks. The costume is 99% finished now, just got a couple of things to do and then it is.......SHOWTIME!

......... I worked with a bloke once who was a member of the "Thunderbird Society" ........ They used to meet up in each other's houses one every three months or so, dressed up in the outfits, watch videos thunderbirds and get very drunk........ Most of them were divorced I seem to recall
