Steve the pouch you thought was the kidney pouch is a 58 water bottle pouch. The ammo pouch with the pocket is the left hand one.

Rucsack and pouches look great. Face camo is something we see very rarely but as Steve J says it makes for a more realistic model.

bit the bullet, so to speak, and got the DPM painted up over the last two nights. Needs a few dirty washes and highlights, buttons painting in and seams outlined, getting there now.

Thanks, would like to agree, but its really very straight forward to do. Just some good brushes - W&N series 7 (I think) sable, as they love creating 'swooshes'

Thanks for the kind comments, can see the end post in the distant now, but at least i can see it !
Plinth arrived the other day from Model Display Products . Marked out the centre point and using a micro drill started to drill the centre, and then snap :angry:, it make it worst it snapped off in line with the top of the resin, so have had to drill a new hole slightly off centre.

An impressive base Steve - looks great.
Got his weapon painted last night, and attached along with his hands and his head. need to get the base painted now, so i can start hanging things of him :smiling:

Badge Arrived, so plinth sprayed, badge and nameplate added. Bust placed on plinth, managed to attach the backpack for the first time as well :smiling3:
