discussion 1:144 scale

I know this might be a daft question but if doing a 1:144 model does the figures and buildings need to be same scale or are there other scales that can be used.

also how can you convert scales is the a ratio scale anywhere that some one could recommend

as for figures and buildings then I guess you could use model railway 'N' guage stuff although they will be slightly on the small side as the scale is aprox 1:148

don't know if any one plays the game bolt action but if there is are what height are the figures don't know if they will be to big for the 1:144 model??
