1/16 VW T2...WHAT IF...

I got a 1/16 RC VW bus and decided to do it as a what if the Germans had them, after all this one is a 1950 T2.

So, I have done it as a Afrika Korps one.

I have actually cracked on a rate of knots with this, thoroughly enjoyed myself. I have had a go at painting a figure, painted the inside, added a 1/16 Tiger spare wheel, some pipes, couple of crates, helmet and water bottle and a box of fruit and eggs :D

I have the front lights to do, some decals and some tools to attach.

This is looking fab Si and what a possibility eh ( something else for the Hurricanes with the 40mm to shoot up!!! :D:D

Thanks Robert, this was/is such a easy and fun build, really took my mind off the commission build and just relaxed. Glad you like it mate...as for shooting at it...poor VW.
 
what a great build,Si,real lov what your doing,very nice work with ,the color,and chipping,;)

Update. Added a whip aerial, a welding ring plate and some netting and pack, also added the extinguisher decal.

:D Thanks Polux, it is a bit different, hopefully though I have made it look convincing to be a genuine WWII vehicle.
