discussion 1/24 figures for dioramas

Hi All,

Does anyone have an idea of where i could get 1/24 scale figures to put into a diorama that is in the making.

The dio has the airfix 1/24 hurricane in it and it would be nice to have a figure or two standing around.

Any help would be great. thanks

From experience it seems 1/24 or "3 inch" figures are limited....

Dolls house stuff and manufacturers like Papo World / Schleich have some figures about 3 inch that "can" be adjusted but they're very basic in detailing inmost cases.

In my case i wanted an officer figure so i ended up buying a Schleich farmer and, after a bit of heating and bending, used putty and filler to get the right "look" then repainted his clothes.

The facial features were acceptable and just needed repainting in some more realistic tones.

Try Preiser; they do several unpainted 1/24, and pre-painted 1/25 (close enough for government work.)

I used the 1/24 tamiya rally mechanics sets then slightly alter the figures, i got these from the johns shop just tell him what you need and he should be able to get it. I used these for the diorama called "this is my ride baby" it is a BF109 G10.
