discussion 1/24 Harrier

Hello people, not been on for a long time but getting back in to the swing of things.

i went shopping the other day to HAMLEYS toy shop in London and i came across the 1/24 Harrier for only £30 reduced from £60. i couldn't belive my eyes, so i had to buy it. it cost more on ebay

i think the price enticed me because i think its a bit to big for my liking and im only just starting on planes as i build choppers or modern vehicles just couldn't let that offer go lol..... plus i also found a nice little shop that sells random stuff, and i also got myself.

is it the airfix kit. i just finished it and it was hard work but worthwhile in the end. posted some pics on the plane thread if you're interested and i paid £65 for it lol, was a while ago though.

yeah its the airfix kit, i did the vulcan and i wanted to throw it out the window, it seems that airfix cant do big kits.

The one i had was horrible but it did turn ok. i opened the window a couple of times. the bin loomed, but i persevered and it was ok.

it is a big plane and worth doing.

good luck with it and id love to see how it turns out.
