Managed to get a job as a driver at Brambles Heavy Haulage Depot at Hendra, Qld and what a job it was.
They gave me a brand new White Road Boss and a new Allison 3 row of 4 low loader, to drag around all over Australia for just on 5 yrs.
Saw ALL of Australia and had quite a few laughs and quite a few headaches as well, had to take the good with the bad and just keep moving.
Got quite a few tickets for some of the bad stuff that they said had to be done, at least they paid for all the fines that they created, all others had to come out of my pocket.
The load on the model is a Transformer that I loaded at GEC in Brisbane, Qld and had to take it to Adelaide, Sth Aust.
Bit on the heavy side and had to play the game of 'cat and mouse' with the Sth Aust mobile weights inspectors, if caught, it would have been straight to jail for me and when the fine is paid in full, "on your bike sonny".
First photo shows the horse and cart as it was brand new, followed by lots of photos of the model and you can see lot's of things I had to do to the kit, to make it into an Aussie truck.
Any questions then please ask ----------

and the MODEL ------------------

Now this model was made way back in 1986, way before all the resin extra's were even thought of. To change anything back then, you had to use your brains, not your credit card and just buy the ready made bits you require like you can do today. You even had to swipe bits from other kits, to make the model a miniature replica of the original truck, so lots gathering of bits and a LOT of fore-thought required before you even started to glue anything together.
