discussion 1/32 Revell BF 109G-10 with Eduard DB-605 A/B Engine

My 10th model, very proud of it. Just looking for friendly advice on how i can get models like this to look even better! I used a paintbrush to paint his kit, and thoroughly enjoyed making the Eduard engine.

I can't help you with improvements either as I don't paint with the hairy stick, you've done a good enough job. I'm a big fan of eduard aftermarket too and the engines looks nice.

A very nice result Louis, especially as it's all done with a hairy stick!


The Tamiya Tiger I is a decent enough kit, although they've been left in the weeds by more recent Dragon kits.

Hey, Thanks really appreciate the compliment! Do you have any recommendations for future kits?

I have only been modelling just under a year after coming back to the hobby since I was a kid, feel free to have a look at my builds. The biggest thing for me has got to be the airbrush, people will probably slate me for saying this but it's only because I haven't got the time or skill but the airbrush is a must for me! save up and get a setup. It's a bit of a skill in its own but it will give you a lovely finish that I think is difficult to replicate with a brush.

You seem to have picked up the knack of using an hairybrush, and you have some very neat demarcation lines.


It's also great to see young people coming into this hobby.

Don't stop what your doing as from this side it looks spot on. There is always the old idea of Swastikas but to mr this is really good stuff


Great build and really good detail al round
