Got a SAS Land Rover 'Pink Panther' kit.

But getting the paint isn't easy (I don't have an airbrush but want a spray finish) so I will do in dessert yellow or sand yellow.

Looks to have a lot of 'accessories' to paint and fit but only one 'soldier'.

Moving forward with it. Body painted mid-build in sections.
The armaments are a tough fix as the fit on them isn't great but working it through with test fitting until it works.

This is the Tamiya kit, isn’t it? Italeri had one as well, but didn’t market it as a “Pink Panther”, probably because it came with European tyres rather than sand ones.

Yes it's the Tamiya kit. I think the Italeri kit is a little better from what I've seen as it has the rear tailgate as a piece rather than adding moulding to the rear camo netting bundle. It also looks to have more 'accessories' as others I've seen here have invested in a pack of additional accessories for the Tamiya kit.

Toby - I know exactly what you mean about the figure they provide - he looks more like the autopilot in the "Airplane" movie than most squaddies I've ever met!

He is so overly hunched over it doesn't look natural.
It looks like storms tomorrow so will get this finished.

Almost done. Wet paint was the only thing between a finished article and how it is now. I've not bothered with pics as it looks done but for the main armament and driver. Next post will be in the completed section.
