As soon as I opened the box to this kit I fell in love with it. I think it is the loaves of bread and the sack of potatoes that did it lol. The figures are superb with smiles on their faces.

I have made a start on this once again, lovely kit from Tamya.

The sub assemblies ready for a final fettle and spray primer . The wheels are not glued on as yet to make painting easier.

The cooker. Got to put a 1/35 scale sausage stew in that big pot!

The limber

An ide of what it looks like together. It will not be displayed like this as the Limber is detached while the cooker is in operation.

Looks like a nice kit coming together there. When you see something like that it makes you realise just how far we've come in the last 65-70 years. It really doesn't look much different to an American civil war chuck wagon. Looking forward to seeing those smiling soldiers.

Just a few pics after spraying with a Humbrol 'Tank Grey' Acrylic spray can. Just teasing myself with the smooth finish I hope to get with an airbrush... Roll on. Also trying to upload the pics as thumbnails so I can get away from all those huge picies that take so long to look through lol.

Oh Graham, talking about being a conformist Well, yesterday i fell in love with your field kitchan and ACCIDENTALLY popped into my local model shop on my way to work and ACCIDENTALLY bought it too

There's something so special about these little models. I loved doing my Kubelwagen a well as buying a box of ammo and crates

You sound very 'accident' prone Paul lol. It is a lovely kit though. Yes John, I would like to see it finished to, been a bit tricky doing much of late but should be back into fray before the weekend when I hope to get an airbrush. That should set me back by about six months lol.

it looks real nice, have to say that i have been looking at the one with the horses it is soooo different i might consider buying this one it would make a lovely dio. keep up the good work.

I've got this in the stash ready to go with a halftrack dio I have in the works!! This is the 1st time I've seen anyone building it! looks good so far. Post some pics when you get the paint on :gooddoggy:

Thanks BOTC, this project has been sidetracked a bit but I am making a plan and I am going to stick to it :laughing:

I want to clear the decks with my Eurofighter and then get some horse drawn stuff sorted. Trouble is, I have a new Bi plane to build to. But I will stick nearly to my plan.

Hi Fenlander, looking good, just a quick Q&A can u get a field kitchen thats not drewn by horses ??, all the ones i've seen got horses but i want to have one being towed by something else, or can i just convert the tow hitch to fit something else.

Looking forward to the finished product.

I think logically you could have it drawn by anything, whether German or commandeered from civvies etc in the case of lost/ill horses.

I have a dual sided kitchen sink with a garbage disposal. Either side of the sink will slowly fill when I run the water and will drain extremely slowly.Wine Preserver
