Is anyone using a Cricut?
Hi Alexander What you need to do is draw a square around separate elements, this will define the edge of the mask. For instance, the S9 will go in a square. Then you need to 'group' this all together, so the S, 9 and the square will move as one piece. Do this with each element and you will end... -

Hi guys I've been doing a bit more test fitting of the pilot. He seems to fit ok apart from his left arm which I've shaved down a little. Cheers Ian I managed to bag myself a couple of hours bench time today so I've made a bit more progress. I've got the pilot in situ and added a few more bits of etch. So I've made a start to the Stringbag... As usual things begin in the cockpit. I've started adding a few bits of etch from the Eduard set. 1/35 scale figures Russian suggestions please.
I think your best bet (or at least the easiest to convert) would be these? A long time ago I converted a set of Miniart Russian and German infantry (Kursk dio if anyone remembers it). New 1:24 Airfix Spitfire mk.IXc!!!!!
Just seen this on Facebook. Awesome news - a big scale mkIx spitfire!!! Detail looks incredible. Only just seen this so no further details. I know not everyone builds this scale but for me this is exciting news. Maybe they’ll retool the mk I soon too. Happy days -
