takeslousyphotos (Peter) very kindly sent me the Viper model he was selling and a 1/48 Mig 21 99% made. I have been in a very off mood regarding building lately, cannot be bothered and just sitting and staring-in fact it got to one point where I nearly decided to pack it all up and sell everything.

Anyway, I have just had three hours enjoying wrecking Peter's work, added a base and re-painted the ali inplaces to give a more worn look, totally weathered and as the undercarriage was not fitted-I decided to put it in bricks.

Thanks Peter, appreciate it mate.

Si:)

It would be pretty sad to think that you would give up modelling. Personally I look forward to your builds, destructive tendencies and your awesome costumes you say you dont do any more. Also rust. I highly recommend mountain biking as a motivation instigator and it puts my mind straight and also helps me look forward to modelling.

Can we inspire or help in any way?

Si, I know exactly how you feel! I sit at my table & fart around, not getting anywhere.

But that's how it goes sometimes - it won't be long before you're cooking with gas again.

My advice? Treat yourself to a really well-made kit. It doesn't have to be an expensive one, just one that's well-reviewed as a joy to build.

The satisfaction of parts fitting as they should will re-light your modelling fire mate! Whatever you do, don't sell up!

I'm glad to see your back to your best pal .....er did you ever leave ??? Er looks like no! :D

I like what you've done with this mate som nice additions like the bricks , so I can presume this was found in Liverpool :D

Great work mate , I always like your wrecks top work :)

Don't you dare give up EVER, great job, as always. I agree get a well fitting kit and enjoy building and busting it up, the way you do so well.

Thanks guys. I think my depression and pain hasn't helped matters lately, plus it is the 1st anniversary on Saturday of my Father passing. Just down in the dumps.

You guys do enough, you comment and talk and that is a help, it is a distraction, only problem is that I am spending more time in the bedroom on the laptop due to can't be bothered.

Will get it sorted.
