Hello again good people,

I completed the plane few months ago and recently just done with the carrier deck. Added the figure here and there. Not the best built with few damaged paints here and there, but quite pleased with the end result. As usual any comments are welcomed :) Have a great weekend all. Thanks for looking

Cheers

Leo

I can hardly believe that's 1/72 Leo! It looks really good & the carrier deck is first class - excellent!

Leo that looks awesome, the detail and weathering on the Hornet really pop. The layout really adds to the build as well, very nicely done Sir! Giving me inspiration to finish mine, thanks!

Hey Trey, thanks for the kind words. It's kinda small though, 1/48 is more fun to build. IMHO;)

Great work Leo, to be honest the F-18 is one American Aircraft I don't really care for, but that aside, you have done a great job on the Aircraft and the Dio. Cheers Derek

The Hornet has never taken on the popularity with the public that its predecessors did. Maybe it hasn't starred in as many films.

although Hornet's are my least favorite modern jets, you've done a nice job. Closed canopy with pilots in the pit would make everything look even better. Which carrier deck did you use?

Thanks for the comments and input Seb. I used the italeri carrier deck 1/72. As for the pilots, couldn't find it in 1/72 scale too bad for me.

Very nice model Leo. Nice crisp careful work especially at 1/72 could easily be mistaken for 1/48. The weathering I like forceful but not over done.

Also like you carrier deck gives an atmosphere and shows the capability of the aircraft. To me that is essential if possible to show aircraft in their environment.
