Chris the TX has 2 rotary knobs on it so I would imagine they would be able to do what you are thinking
I'll see once I get it.

OH GREAT Garry as that what my carsons 14 cha has two rotary knobs an very handy they are on mine ive used both knobs so i have 10 other functions to work thing an its great pic of it belowC501004.jpg

This is the TX that I have on the way.

HI Garry looks great but i see its for aircraft isnt it but it should do all that you want it to do on your ship an 10 channels incluedin the two rotary knobs oh you can have several functions goin as you have done right by buyin a 10 channel T/X

as ive seen people up the boating lake turn up with nice lookin ships but then say cor wish i had more channels on my T/X as they have just bought a 4 channell T/X which will just give the basic workins an no more so they then have to fork out more dosh on a bigger an more channels T/X so well done on that you have saved yourself quite a bit of dosh an my T/X can hold up to i think 10 models in its memory do you know what yours will do ? but i'll do as you say wait till it comes but i should think it will or maybe more but keep your updates comin im really enjoyin seein this

Chris, it is actually designed for a quadcopter, but a TX is a TX in my mind, it will do what I tell it to do lol, as I mentioned before it will do 20 models in memory.
I have made a start on the electronics now, so it is becoming quite interesting.
A couple of green LED's in the bridge
2 White LED's in the stern
Battery with fuse
2 Power converters (so far) and some distribution blocks.

WOW Garry you certainly are steamin full ahead VERY WELL DONE my good freind but im not critizin but this is just an observation on your stern but are you not goin to cut the hole for the elephants ass as its called as i see you have wires goin right where that should be ? but you are an incredible modeller an them blue things are they power converters ? an im really enjoyin seein your work at this rate it will be built in a yr or so WOW an thank you for loads of lovely pics really make my day to see some new ideas press on an have you thought about your ESC yet as it will need to be able to take about 30 amps as these models when you get water load on the props the eletric current rateing goes up so you will need about a 25 amp fuse in to protect your ESC against dead stall eg. weed around the props as ive had this happen on my norfolk an my 30 amp fuse blew so it protecked MY ESC AN MOTORS BUT BRILLIANT BUILD
ATB to you Garry

I know about the ESC mate, I mentioned to you previously that I have a 30amp unit in stock.
No, I won't be adding an elephants ass to the stern of HMS Iron Duke F234, as according to my reference pics she doesn't have one.

This was a rather fiddly job, the front gun turret, 24 pieces so far and not finished yet.
Not great, but it will get better with filling and sanding, and it was a lot quicker than waiting months for one to get here from the UK.

Thanks Chris, I would have preferred to just get one from Fleetscale, but they are so far behind with their orders now, my first order still hasn't been posted after about 6-7 weeks and the second either.
It does build up my skills though, and teaches me patience too. The turret has taken a few days so far.

WELL Garry that is a few days well spent i think it would have tested my patience too to build that gun turret as very awkward an yes you have done the right thing by building it yourself pity you are so far away an may i ask what other things you have oredered from fleetscale ? if you dont want to say no worryies but you are doin a grand job on this build i cant prasie it high enough an do you know there is several days of postal strikes here so that may holds things up

Chris the list is pretty long, but include things like stanchions, life rafts, MG's, radar etc.
No, the problem is with production, as Peter at Fleetscale is ill, and Justin is working on his own.
Garry

OH I see Garry well i made my radars from brass box section an plasti card an very easy to make they were but up to you as you made that gun turret an that was a fantastic feat on its own
