discussion 1/72 Macross YF-19 Demonstrator

Another Macross build, this time another "aircraft" as I had enjoyed the Super Ostrich so much.

This is an inverted wing layout, similar to the Grumman XP-29 and the Soviet SU-47 Bekut.


An interesting variant.

Anyhow, I have started with the sub-assemblies.

and doing a bit of dry fit.

Then it will be undercoat with mr.color surfacer and trying to figure out my painting process/sequencing.

Off to a good start, an unusual looking beast

"Eagle Eye" matey! Spot on, there is a bit missing there as I am painting it separately before glueing it in place.

Started putting down some undercoat using mr color sufacer.


Overall very happy with the progress, the next photo of the top half of the fuselage, reminded me of the SU-47 Berkut.
