Hi Lee
That paint job is excellent. Looks as if the masking was spot on.

Worked some more on the bird this morning. Painted the inside and cockpit interior green I might have over killed on the inside of the fuselage but I want to make sure when you peep in any place of this craft you’re not gonna see any overspray places. I also detailed the cockpit and picked out the details on side of the fuselage enjoy the pics 927F6D6A-D9BA-48F8-BF22-ABF814538C55.jpegC9191B5E-EE29-431F-9EE7-9A484D888ACA.jpeg3A486560-B640-4850-8D66-6256A77B4E55.jpeg1C62040C-F731-4B42-A56A-015145764FF9.jpeg4F60812B-4EE9-4AF3-82D7-1E88EF69B38E.jpegB2E058E2-E0D0-48F1-82D8-8F62AE6B2D68.jpeg583BE8F1-3E6A-4D79-8124-54CBF1B9BBB4.jpeg

Hi Lee
Cockpit and engine looking good. I doubt much of the engine will be seen when the cowling and the prop go on.

Added the decals this afternoon. The decals aren’t that good this time I had a lot of problems with them breaking up and cracking I did what I could with them sorry the tail number literally disintegrated when I tried to fix it so I don’t know when I’m on do there1A552C81-3D27-4134-8AEB-4B487A0B5E2D.jpeg8F02489D-6918-4E86-AEF7-34209E4A1DF1.jpeg44CC428A-D0E3-465A-AC97-40FB73DB8D71.jpeg

Looks good with the decals Lee :smiling3:.
Shame about those that shattered.

don’t know about the tail number may have to do without
Pretty much any from a WWII USAAF aircraft would do, I’d think — any spare from another aircraft kit, for example. You may want to use some with a 4 or 5 if you have them, but that really only matters if you expect people who actually know what they stand for will begin picking nits :) (And care about that, of course.)

Thanks Jakko
I started to put another set I had that came with the decals that were red and one made the other didn’t. I would rather leave it off if I put a different one on look out I’ll get slammed.

Looking good Lee, interesting use of that black coat, certainly works as it's looking a mean bird .

Thanks John I use flat black primer for a lot of builds makes a nice shade effect sometimes hopefully I’ll have an update for you in the morning thanks for stopping by and the compliment
