discussion 1/72 pilot figures

I'v been looking for some, as I prefer to pose my planes in flight, with someone in the cockpit. Can anyone recommend some half-decent figures - WW2: RAF, Luftwaffe, US and Japanese?

Ebay brings up some ready-painted ones by Hobbymaster, but it's difficult to see how good they are. There are also some resin figures by PJ Productions in France; good but a bit pricey. Any ideas?
