I didn't realise it was 1/72 until I really-read your post - it does look bigger!


As for losing the shine, many gloss coat products are formulated to be applied to a matt surface so they don't work as well if the base is already glossy.


I've found that Humbrol Clear will work on matt & gloss bases, so maybe that's one for future builds.

Thanks for the tip Patrick, once I'm done with the mr. Metallic color it gives silver residue when i touched it that's the reason I gloss coat it. Maybe i didnt give enough time for the paint to cure
