Hi All,

I'm trying to find some 1/72 Tommies to go with this puppy "er indoors" got me. I've trolled around on the net and can't find much of anything.......... Particularly for that period (1917 ish) and in desert rig...... Or did they just have to charge about the desert in standard Battledress ?????

So any pointers regarding where I can get some would be appreciated.

Well I've been thinking of doing something from WW1 myself, so I had Emhars page bookmarked!

looks like an interesting kit Peter, will look forward to seeing this one,

oh my wee figures, what fun, think Ron will be the export on painting them after his zolu one, ;)

This looks very interesting Peter. I've only seen the Airfix 1/76 Mk1 any chance of some sprue shots on this one ?

Exactly what I have Peter for my little dio ( I'm still looking for Germans ) so any help would be grateful

Robert

Those emhar figures good kits?

I bought italeri 1:72 which were ok-ish, some had bad flash, and were a little samey (meaning there were four of each figure, rather than a selected lot)

I'll take some shots Ian. and post 'em up tomorrow, I had a quick look the other night and from what I can see, although small and not much to it, it has a bucketful of detail.. Might be a while before I start "nailing it together though.

The one I ordered seemed to have good reviews Dave. But again four of each.

Have now orders both Emhar British and German soldiers so this will not only be a tank painting experience but a figure painting experience, however as small should be OK to paint ( I have a big magnifier I can use and it's hands free with a lite
