discussion 1/72 WW2 ground crew, help needed

I'm planning a few displays and want to add some activity to them instead of just a plane standing there.

A mechanic working on one for instance, maybe with the pilot standing by. that kind of thing.

Are there any sets out there that would suit what im doing?

Try Revell "pilots & Ground Crew 1/72 for WW 11. All RAF.

Good mixture of ground crew & pilots. Legs, arms & torso. Choose & construct kneeling sitting standing with arms in positions required.

25 figures with 101 parts.

smashing, it shouldnt be too hard to "convert" a couple to russian or japanese yes?

Do they do a Luftwaffe set also?

A company called Preiser did (or do) a set of 1/72 Luftwaffe ground crew and pilots. I have a vague memory that these were also boxed by Revell (??).

I think they did either RAF or USAAF as well. Sorry to be so vague but it's not really my scale.

I bought a set of the WW2 Airfix RAF ground crew to add a bit of detail to a twin spitfire dio, they looked ok painted.

Still got a few left over if you want them Wayne, PM me your address and i'll post them to you, i'm not going to use them for anything.

Hi wayne , the revell 1/72 luftwaffe ground crew and pilots set is very good, as steve says i think its a re-issue of a prieser set . Its hard styrene too so theres no problems sticking or cleaning up seam lines etc. , cheers tony
