Hi Paul, looking good so far.:thumb2: You have probably thought of this already but just in case, your cantilevered office needs a corner post support that also ties in the staircase for added support. If that is not feasible then perhaps a suspension support to that same corner if it does not interfere with your overhead crane.

This project is just begging for overhead lighting. Hope you can manage some I think the effect would be awesome. Maybe an inspection light in the pit...some arc welding? Because of the large viewing area (windows) the possibilities are enormous. l'm really jazzed about this one Paul! I'm sure what ever you decide will be the bomb. Rick H.

Planned on a pit light & a couple overhead lamps. Been through all my RR stuff and all my micro bulbs & LEDs are 12v. Too dim w 9v battery, so will try LHS for lighting kit using 1.5 or 9v batteries. PaulE

Just caught up with this Paul, very interesting indeed, you've got your own little 'man cave' world to delve into, when the nagging reaches that certain crescendo :flushed:
Imagine yourself sitting next that nice warm radiator with a frothy pint, just looking about and planning your next phase of construction....you lucky dog!

Cheerio! Jim.
