Rick
I’ll be sitting next to John he’s been pretty quiet these days I feel it’s safe or is it the calm before the storm? BTW is that a sylvan Ford?

Welcome John and Lee, John its ok I have Matron standing by with the extinguisher.
Lee dont worry I nicked Johns matches when he sat down. He had that pyro look in his eyes.
Gentlemen do not expect much activity here as
I am now back at my Wingy work until Wednesday evening. At which time l shall commence
activities on this project. In the meantime please avail yourselves of anything that strikes your
fancy on the back bar. Yes Lee the cab and interior are Sylvan. The tank body is a Wiking component from a Henschel HS100 fuel truck. Thanks for dropping in.
Rick H.

I hope I am not to late to join the growing rabble. Looking forward to seeing how this one turns out like. Good luck sir:thumb2::thumb2:

Looking good Rick. Where did you source the wheels? They don't look Wiking. PaulE

Hi Rick
Interesting project. I'll follow along although mentioning fuel near Mr Race could be risky. If his eyes glaze over and he starts to twitch then I'm off!

Thanks for looking in Paul, The wheels are from adp Models. They were being marketed as accessory sets @ panzerfux.de in Germany. If memory serves about 3.90 euros a set. Jim, pull up a chair, in anticipation of 453s penchant for pyrotechnics the fuel tank was drained prior to starting this project. Cheers, Rick H.

Glad you are over the "man flu" and able to get back to this project. Good luck with the next stage:thumb2:

All the small details have either been installed or located for final assembly. This will be the last update before I blow some color on this to see if my body work is up to snuff. Cheers, Rick H.P1010731.JPGP1010733.JPGP1010735.JPGP1010736.JPG

Finally got a coat of paint on this and I'm satisfied with the body work so when
dry will get the glass in and start the weathering. Q&C's welcome, Rick H.P1010741.JPGP1010742.JPGP1010743.JPG
