discussion 1/87 scale Hummel battery rebuild

Finally found another Hummel. These are getting rare at any price. This will join my Hummel battery elements as #16, the fifth Hummel in the element as #1 is down for repairs. Here we are some hours in after disassembly/cleanup, drill out lift hooks, add flat black & dirty black paint, and add spare track holder, shovel, jack block, spare bogie wheels, crew kit and MG ammo cans & holder.

Made some progress today. Almost ready for decals, then final finishes.

Waiting for Hauler PE MKIV tracks & another crew member to complete this. I also can't find my stash of WWII German cable ends for the tow cable.
