Could never find a model of this in 1/87 so I'm going to attempt to create one. It's even hard to capture a good picture.

Sounds like an interesting project and your the man to complete it. I will follow along.
Progress pics. You can see lots of M4 HST parts as that was initial basis. First pic about 12 hours in, second & third pic at about 16 hours. These mod jobs are all cut'n'fit so 3 forward & 2 back is normal. It won't be perfect, but should be loosely representative. Still lots to go.
