Overturned Sherman is being recovered by two M26s while the Sherman crew are ministered to by an ambulance crew under the watchful eyes of traffic control MPs. Single pull M26 rights the Sherman while double pull M26 provides tension preventing the tank from crashing to the ground causing additional damage.

Thanks guys. Looking for suitable base materials & it will need a bunch of figs.

Base constructed and proposed layout begins. Two side roads and main rod, upper area will be higher grade than lower with main road and right hand side road higher yet. Thinking structures.

Potential placement of structures & vehicles.

For the curious, a shot of the base underneath. Light but sturdy.

Nice work so far Paul. I see you are asking for suggestions. I'm not experienced with dioramas, but as an amateur looking, that dirt/dusty look for the ground seems to suit the scene. Not sure where in the world you are setting your scene, but to me that looks like somewhere in the US (house with the roof blown off excepted).

Nice set up Paul, the layout of the individual components spread out the view without you missing anything..
One question though ..."just how fast was that Sherman going around the corner" ?...(typical Yank drivers....lol)
I'm guessing this will be set 'somewhere' in europe ?

Driver caught unawares by early morning dew on pavement while negotiating a hard right turn from the side road onto the main at speed. Hard rubber track blocks were no help as he slid off pavement and dug into the shoulder causing the upset. Yes, west of Metz trying to return to front line unit after main gun repairs.
