Here's another model that's been on the back burner since 2021. A bit of a strange model in that it is held together with screws I opted to glue it and fill the screw holes. The decals are a bit poor. they just splintered when applying them. So I made my own masks which worked out well. Beautiful.

Was this one of the kits sold for about £3 each when 21st Century Toys went bust?

Fantastic zero vaughan , the painted markings look great too. Theyre a bit of a strange one these kits , originally designed to be sold fully assembled and painted , hence the screws and general snap fit construction . That said , they are very nicely detailed and if built like a normal kit , look great . Ive done their 1/32 macchi mc205 veltro in the past ( in fact ive got another one in the stash ) and found it a lovely build , the pilot in particular was superbly sculpted . And yes youre right dave they appeared in Home bargains a few years ago for a couple of quid , thinking about it why didnt I buy a shed load !

Thanks, no in fact I bought it secondhand from a stall at the IWM Duxford airshow.I think I paid £10.

Nice job, Vaughan.

I've built both the 21st Century Me 109 and the Stuka on here.
As Tony wrote. the aircraft make up into great, well detailed kits. Well worth a punt if any come up for sale.....

The pilots are along with the best I've ever seen, multi positional and great detail.

I still have another Stuka in my stash. your excellent build has got the juices flowing!

Thanks Ron, it is a weird mix of high detail with basic and crude construction. Fit is not good especially at the wing roots, lots of plastic card and filler. But as you say they make into a half descent model it's a shame they stopped making them.

Hi Vaughan. Just catching up on the various builds. This is a fine result, looks very nice and clean. Your painted markings have turned out exceptionally well.
