discussion 54mm So They Call You Peter

well this is a white metal figure I got,that was over sized,but I still painted him up,


I don,t real like doing real closeup,as to me it can ruin a model,as it will show,ever little mistake,floor you have done with  it, :$ :/


for for what it is I have called it So your Called Peter,who was one of the youths giver the iron cross,on Hitler last Birthday,for destroying 4 Russian tanks,


do hope you like it,and under stand at that size is a not an easy paint at all, :/

he was not a very good cast at all real,even my friend Nic said it was hobble,and he dose casting for a living, :/

Cute little bugger and a great job of painting him up  pity that even the most innocent of all (children) are forced to engage in combat roles. One would think man has evolved to only using adults to kill each other but sadly even today the practice is still widespread especially in the Middle East and in Africa's many senseless and brutal civil wars ...Jim :|

Like you said Monica,it is never easy to paint something so small.


However, you have done a very good job with this .

I think you've captured his youthful look very nicely Monica. Even his forage cap looks too big for him.


Now I've said this before to other people, and I'm gonna say it to you too!  9_9


How about popping a plain background sheet behind your figures, models etc rather than just on your workbench?


You do really nice stuff & it would be great to see them better presented. A sheet of card from a stationery shop is only a couple of bucks
