Seat drawn up and occupied - when is coffee being served?

Due to my wife’s illness I had to put this one down for a bit so I could help her out after her Chemo treatment.
I’ve started back and here’s where I am.

My OCD got the better of me and while trying to get the body to look better I screwed up the paint. Luckily everything else is perfect. Now I just have to completely red redo the body and they’ll be ready to put together.

C'est la vie, I am sure that the Dearborn factory and all us car modellers have done the same, I know that I have.
Will be superb when completed, my mate in South Africa had one in bottle green metallic with silver striping ( note to self - must buy Mach 1 kit and paint, plenty of space to store them, don't tell wife ...............).

Thanks guys, I really like this for him because everyone on here is so positive and supportive. I’m trying to find a new body to start over with because I really screwed the pooch on the paint. So either a new body or I try to strip the paint completely and start over.

Had to wait for the paint to dry before I could start the clear and the decals and now I’m waiting on my second windshield to arrive so I can complete the car. Here’s what I have so far.

Very nice indeed with the correct engine colour. Impressive in white with black striping.
