Morning all.

My youngest daughter has been shooting with me for around a year now, since she turned 14.

At our last club shoot she did really well with one of my rifles (CZ452 .22LR) placing 3rd in the competition against seasoned shooters. I decided to designate it as her rifle, and asked her if she would like me to repaint it. It previously looked like this:

Being quite a girly girl she asked for pink, so I decided to try my hand at a Krptek camo pattern. This is what it came out like:

It will probably raise some eyebrows on the range, but she is really happy with it which is all that matters.

Don't think I'd have felt particularly tiddly with that (unless I had a matching 'you can't see me' suit!) But very well done mate!

If it raises eyebrows then all the more reason to do it...... Why follow the herd?

And at least when she gets older and out of her 'pink' era you just paint it again

Looks great! I do a bit of air rifle target shooting at a couple of ranges, and you do see some different paint schemes on peoples various guns.

Peter, we shoot Fullbore & Smallbore at Bisley, it will definitely get some disapproving looks, but sod them.

Love it Bob, a very nice cam job indeed.

Love the fact she went for ' not your standard' pink instead of greens and browns', and hey, if it upsets a few folk who are 'stuck in their old ways then it's all the better'

That's a great paint job. You gave her a choice, she chose that camo, you painted it and she's happy. That's all that really matters.

Some people are small minded. I can’t imagine why they get upset, it’s not as if you’re hunting game which will be frightened off is it
