Have a go at this. It reinforces once again how subjective colour perception is.I'm not expecting any but the brave to post their scores. I suspect the younger members would do better than our more mature colleagues!

X-Rite: Get exactly the color you need, every time, anywhere in the world.

It's just for fun!

Cheers

That was fun. What was your score then. I got 36 :-/ so I'm not totally colour blind it would seem.

A tough one. I got 16, which I'm quite happy about. The highest/worst score for my age range and gender was 1520!

Tony

I also got 36 ... don't think i could take up with the dying and finishing industry again though ... it was hard work on the eyes.

*edit* as an aside .. did people get problems across the four or were they in the same section? my problem was with the first chart.

Well I just did it again, on the same screen and got 26... I wish I still had my sony trinitron screen. :-(

27, which i'm happy with. I might try it on a bigger screen than my laptop as i'm curious to see if it helps.

Scored 38. Could feel a strain on my eyes though, maybe should have had the eyetest in december

Good to see that everyone's colour accuity is slightly different. It's not a competition just a bit of fun :)

Just doing the test shows how subjective a topic colour is.

Happy paint mixing!

Steve

20 for me, which I am happy about - I did this same test about a year ago and scored 27. I've spent a lot of time in front of a screen messing with photos over the years so my colour perception is reasonably well trained.

I've just done it again and got a shocking 441! I'll stick to jars of paint with the name on them!
