must say it looks fake to me

wouldnt it have snapped or crumpled at least a little

and they are deliberatly hitting it if its real? look at all the dents more than 1 plane did that if its real

why

also there is no exif data in the jpg so to me i think its fake

still a good picture though :P

I don't think the pictures a fake because of the shadow of the plane on the car, but I think there was another accident before and then someone jsut stuck the plane there, there's a big dint in the wing of the car, and also the windscreen looks like it was hit nearer the top.

Lot of work for a fake. The plane has shadow and reflection. Looks like the plane was put there after the bash.

Screen cracked in two places, the plane would not have the velocity left to bounce then hit again and go through.

A list too long to list of reasons why that plane could not possibly have caused the windshield damage.

But there again, the titanic was unsinkable and the world was square, once upon a time!

With respect,

Howdy Guys,

Well, I ran a photo editing/photo repair website for about 5 yrs until I took a management job where I work. I have faked alot of photos, putting ppl in pics with their favorite Celebrity, making ppl the "Time Man of the Year, putting other ppls bodys with other ppls head etc.

I still have all the software and happen to know that when you turn a digital photo into a negative image, its alot easier to see where its been touched up or altered......cant find it on this photo, I would say its real.

Have a good day,

greg aka GW

I completely agree that the picture is real, but I don't think for a minute that the aircraft did the damage shown.

The car has obviously been involved in an accident and someone has placed the model onto the car for the humorous picture.

The impact required to shatter a laminated windscreen, as opposed to crack, is considerable and yet there is no damage visible whatsoever on the model.

Without a doubt it is a posed picture, the model insurance used to publish similar but genuine shots of cars that had model impact damage, the model shown in the picture would not have the inertia to do the damage shown, something much heavier has hit the windscreen.

A powered IC model aeroplane has been known to cut through a caravan roof,it happened around here a few years ago.

Also I once had a Wayfarer biplane that lost radio contact and flew away in the early unreliable reed days,a big model,it flew into the side of a house breaking the brickwork, now that does take some doing !

Some of the worst accidents that I have seen involved helicopters, the sight of one of these thrashing itself to destruction on the ground has to be seen to be believed, you just move very quickly !
