Hi guys and girls long time no post. Just thought I would put a couple of pictures of my and my 8 year olds F-86 sabres on here.

Both kits are 1.72 scale one airfix and one heller. Both kits where pretty much the same and we had to do one as wheels up as for some reason the front gear on one of the kits was missing.

We both enjoyed the builds and we are aware they are not spot on accurate any feedback welcome. Thanks for looking.

Really cool, love that you did them together and enjoyed the build. Nice way to spend time with the kids

Great job on both. And a great way to spend time with the kids.

I have never been too big of a fan of jet aircraft, but the F86 is the exception. very cool looking in my opinion. And I have discovered, since returning to model building, that I really did that German camo scheme.

Very nicely done Paul great to see some younger modellers builds.

As all the above have said ( great builds and the earlier jets seem to have quite a bit of character.

Like the camo on the West German Aircraft

Good detail for 1/72 aswell

Great builds and great way to spend family time

We are not a big fan of jets either but some of the early ones are cool.

we both lover the Sabre it is something to do with the big open mouth bit at the front same with the Mig 15.

some of the early British Jets Just look cool Vampire and Venom look like some thing from Gerry Anderson rather than an RAF plane.

Great pair of Sabres Paul , its good to see your son taking an interest and he should be well proud of these , cheers tony
