Here is my Academy 1/48 MiG 21 MF is Somali AF colors, Mogadishu air port 1993

I just added foil straps the seat, the rest is OOB.

Enamels with insignea painted on, alclad clear matt over the top.

Thanx guys. It is a nice kit, the MF comes with a nice cockpit and the fit of the kit is actuallul good.

just don't repeat my mistake and forget the balast in the nose! I had to feed lead shot into the cockpit.

I decided to go for the Somali AF markings over the supplied kit markings, but they do give rather interesting options. Indian AF, USSR and Yougoslav af.

I used post shading ,with powder pastels rather than pre shading, the streaks are also with pastels.
