Can anybody point me at a lacquer red primer for German armour? Cannot see a Tamiya one, too bright. Not much knowledge ref lacquer paint and who makes them?

Mr Hobby do an oxide red primer, but only in a spray can.

You could always decant and airbrush if you didn't want to spray from an aerosol.

I have used Tamiya Red Oxide Fine Surface Primer before, as I had a number of models to Prime in the same colour. Gave a great finish

Hataka also include a red primer in their set, not sure if you can buy it on its own??

As of yet i did not have problems spraying vallejo on top of lacquer so might use vallejo red primer then chipping fluid and then lacquer, if it goes pear shaped at least i will not ruin a kit lol
