Hey all,

This is one of three models currently occupying my desk. Roden 1/48 Pilatus PC-6 - I'm doing it in the Air America colours.

Take care,

Quintin

Sorry guys, something seems to have gone wrong with the hosting. I redid the pics in my original post - hope you can see them time round.

This is looking great Quintin I like that exhaust the tones on it are spot on.

Can see them now :) Great work Quintin, obviously this is progressing well.

Very cool. Does the kit come with Air America markings?
Hey Migrant,

Yup, it does - the distinctive blue Air America markings are provided in the form of large decals. So I'm still a bit divided on whether I'm going to use the decals or try and devise a way to paint the blue markings.

Regards,

Quintin

Hey guys,

Quick update. After the very first decal breaking up, I decided to rather paint the blue and white detail on the side of aircraft.

Yup, easier said than done, I soon discovered.

So here is the white backing in place so far, after half a day's worth of masking!

Hey guys,

Quick update. I decided to paint the blue and white details instead of using the decals provided.
