discussion Aircraft kits that include engines etc

Hi all

I was idly wandering if anyone knows which aircraft kits include a replica of the engine as standard with the kit eg the Tamiya 1/48 He-162 does, what about any others? Also any others that have other ground equipment included eg bomb trolleys, towing trucks and the like. I would be interested to know so i can add some funkiness to my 1/72 and 1/48 collection without paying through the nose for the resin detail sets (excellent though they usually are)

Hello Saul,there are so many kits that include replica engine details these days,far too many to even research within time restraints,suggest that you check the kit manufacturers details for any types that may be of interest to you.

Another challenge would be to consider building them yourself,the old 'Aeromodeller' magazine circa 1945 had some interesting drawings of period engines ie Daimler Benz,Merlin etc,I built a few of them from scrap materials and found the experience very interesting.
