I was wondering if anyone knew what would be the best way to compliment vehicles from the 1:35 scale and figures...? I was wondering if it would be 1:48th because it seems to have more aircraft available than any other scale. However, I would like to have detail and lots of it when I'm making a model. Any other scale like for example 1:32 is hard to find a large variety of in that scale. (Maybe not that much detail, but enough to give it a good feeling.)

Yeah...is a pity that there isn't planes at 1/35....only a few ones by the moment.

1/48 is so small for a dio...my opinion

And at 1/32 you will find an interesting figure range...

I think that 1/32 scale, being arithmetically the closest to 1/35 is the one to use. There is of course a difference which for figures equates to an average bloke (say 5'9" tall) becoming a tall bloke (over 6')

1/32 is an ever expanding scale for aircraft models, more and more are becoming available. It is a big scale for dioramas. When you put two or three models together they take up a lot of space.

The difference between the two scales of a six foot man. 1/35 51 mm high 1/32 is 56mm high. Or in old maths one quarter of an inch difference.

With a little ingenuity it may be possible to extend the figures. Extend the torso or upper or lower legs.

One to 48 there is relatively no problem.

I was mainly planning to hang them. I might plan out an area where a couple of aircraft had crashed into a building. I haven't really seen any 1:35th WWII aircraft and I'm not really looking for 1:32 figures. :-(

Thanks! I'm sure to try and find some 1:32 this weekend. I'm planning to go to the modeling store for some weathering any ways and I have the money to find and start yet another model. xD

Yeah, I can probably make them look about the same size. A while back my dad had gotten some modeling books on how you can do that kind of stuff. Take part of figures and make them look a different scale or have them facing / looking a different way than it's suppose to. I'll just have to keep my eye out for some 1:32 aircraft then. ;-)

I still might get one though if I see it in a modeling store I go to. I'm leaning more towards getting mostly 1:48th and hanging everything that I build from that scale and 1:32 sense, that's the closest I can get to 1:35 with the diorama.
