My build of the Airfix 1/144 SLS Artemis (A50202)
Almost every stage of this build was awkward due to the size and weight of this model. It stands over 23" high which also makes it difficult to photograph! This kit came in a gift set with 10 acrylic paints - which I do not use as I use enamels. Unbelievably, Airfix do not include white paint! Unlike the Revell version, Airfix do not include decals for the orange/yellow sections on the Core Stage and Launch Vehicle Stage Adapter (LVSA). I painted the bands around the Core Stage but left the LVSA as life is too short for too much faffing around.
Even so, it turns out to be an impressive model once completed.
