Just a bit of light relief on a rainy Bank Holiday!

A very easy build, went together in about 3 hours although the sprue gates are huge! Luckily the plastic is quite soft so cleaning up is a breeze.

I plan to do a mini dio, pretty much the same as the box art. However that means finding a pair of figures, which is proving harder than expected!

Thanks for looking

Patrick

Nice start Patrick , I know tamiya do figures for bikes not sure on the scale though I suppose if it comes to it you could chop a couple up and put them in if the scale is 1/32

I like this because I have a fiester :D

That's a nice colour on the pics it looks closer to the Subaru blue but it's more than likely not.

Patrick you can't have a rally car that looks like it's just come off a factory line :)

Get stuck in :D

Looking good Patrick......Don't worry about the few posts, I'm sure there are folks watching, if not writing!

Alan, not all rally cars get dirty....Remember where my model ended up?!!

Don't worry Ron, I'm not fussed! If I only did this for the appreciation of others I'd be missing the point of our rewarding (sometimes frustrating) hobby!

A bit more progress on Alan's car!

Decals on & boy, were they P. I. G. 's to do! Lost one that goes on the bonnet - as soon as the Microsol hit it, it disintegrated :(

A gloss coat to seal & a pinwash with a

very dark blue.

The car will be placed on a base showing it leaping over a bump - I've altered the suspension to have the wheels dropped, apart from the rear one that's compressed under load.
