while I'm in practice mode I dug out this little thing keep me busy while paint is drying and I must admit I enjoyed doing the little feller :)

Built oob and I just added a couple of rolls of tarp to give it something, brush painted in revell dark green and given a pin wash of citadel nulin oil wash then dry brushed in revell light olive to give a dusty look and finished off with a dry brush of revell Earth brown:) View attachment 120075

Very nice of you to say Frederick

I like this Alan and will keep this noted down for when I get round to doing my Cromwell and centaur

I like the use of colours and the weathering tech seems simple yet very effective

Cheers

Awesome work Alan it looked a lot bigger than 1/72 until you added the paint pot great work

It's good to go back to the beginning sometimes , sometimes the simplest paint effect can turn out effective :)

Hi Alan

Thats a great Braille Scale Cromwell - super finish!

Planning any more 1/72 armour? This scale screams diorama.

Cheers

I have a sd kfz 7 with 88mm and a Sherman m4a2 in 1/72 but I only do this scale to fill gaps in modelling but I'm thinking of putting this one on a little base if I can find a cheep building or if I can scratch build one :)

That's a super paint job, Alan. Nothing overdone - just looks great and a lot bigger than 1/76.
