Whilst waiting for my Jagdpanzer, I thought I'd bash this one out. It's a new tool by Airfix & here's the sprues... all 2 of 'em!

A few hours of building & it's pretty much done

The kit is quite nice with a fair amount of detail. Airfix really need to look at how their competitors mould small parts though. Revell do it far better & don't have those massive sprue attachment points either!

I'm using the Vallejo Model Air Russian 4BO set to paint this one. Hopefully it'll help me learn to love acrylics! ;)

So now she's primed

More to follow tomorrow, thanks for looking in.

Thanks for your nice comments guys & gal :)

Done a bit more, put down the first coat of actual paint which is a very dark green.

And then I added the lighter green, keeping it to just the centre of panels & hatch covers. Not that easy considering the size of the model!

As I'm only using my phone camera the effect might not show up too well, but it's there!

Thanks for looking in :)

This is looking very nice Patrick ( something small to keep you busy till the jagd comes through )

Nice paintwork and lovely skill with the A/B

A small update, due to being busy sanding off mould seam lines on 18 Jagdpanzer wheels :(

Glossed the Cromwell & added the decals. Airfix provide 2 US stars for the turret, but I had terrible trouble getting them to bed down so they've been binned.

Hopefully tonight I'll get a wash on it & begin the weathering.

Cheers
