Built largely out of the box except for 3D printed sagged wheels and push bars

A nice kit - straightforward to build and does look like a Saracen even if some details are not entirely accurate.

Originally sprayed in deep bronze green but it looked too toy-like so it got an overspray of home-mixed dark green to tone it down a bit.

Just need Airfix to produce a Saladin (probably) and a Salamander (unlikely) in 1:35 to complete the 6 wheeler set.

Some things are so ugly they're almost pretty. Or pretty ugly. That's come up a real treat,. I still wonder what's inspired Airfix to do all these 'period' pieces, other than many modellers are of a certain age to remember them all

Well, maybe if someone does some figures to go with them, and a Jon Pertwee figure so I can do them as a UNIT deployment. Of course, I'd need the old Bedford truck Airfix once did as a hard plastic job back in the day
