This is an old Airfix kit I picked up at IPMS.......... It is going to be a real challenge as it is teeny tiny H0/00 scale. I'm either going to make something of it or I'm going to bollix it right up. The mouldings don't look to bad and there is a bit of fine detail which surprised me.......... I've made a start on the wheels and tyres. ............. This'll be a build thread which will be either complete or will disappear into obscurity when I screw it up.

Dear wife/ Santa

Can I have a magnifying glass for xmas!!!!

This looks like it will be a different type of model kit for you but coming from your stable Peter I don't think you'll have any problems except the size eh??

Best of luck and nice choice

Thanks Robert. I think you are heaping too much faith o:Dn me brother.

I had no idea what HO or OO scale were.... so I looked them up! HO is 1/87 & OO is 1/76, so good on you Peter for trying something like this!

This one will be really tiny ...but highly interesting as well!!

Good luck ;)

Thanks Patrick. For the princely sum of £3.50 I figure it's no big deal if I make a Hash of it.

I guess size doesn't matter after all ay ? :P
Just finished the Tamiya 1/35 a real nice truck but dont envy you building that scale. Be patient and stick with it. I will be watching this build.

Ok guys...... First update. Wheels for the truck and gun are done. I figured they'd be the trickiest bit so I attacked them first. Chassis and springs are on. The exhaust and transfer box can go on after paint. I'm actually quite impressed with this little kit. There is no flash, things seem (so far) to fit ok and Airfix have crammed quite a bit of detail into it.
