So I got this model off eBay I’ve no idea who made it or anything it was just there for sale a reasonable price I thought I have that I think it’s about 20 quid and it’s the same scale as my tank models
There’s not much to it I think about 20 pieces so it’s going to be the painting that will either make or break this model
No instructions so I can’t show you that what you see below is what we got
From the looks of it there is a complete interior quite well detailed

So the first thing I tackled was painting the wheels what I did first was give them a Matt black coat allowed that to dry then dry brushed tire black across the tread so it wasn’t all one uniform boring colour then with a bit of research I came to the conclusion the colour for the APC on the outside is a black green or greenish black depending how you look at it so that’s what colour I painted in the centre of the wheels using reversible tweezers or clamps to hold each wheel by its axle this gave me a nice platform to paint on as my hands are not the steadiest

And finally for this section I painted the floor and the seats of the actual interior at the moment they look a right mess but once I get the paint on the walls I will clean all up

Interesting
The only other APC kit I'm aware of is the old Halcyon one from waaay back in the day. That was 1/35. There was an interior set put out at the time. The problem was, the interior as seen in the film does not fit inside the shell of the vehicle, as the film set ignored the size of the wheels! Looks like this kit has actually solved that 'minor' detail and made a narrowed interior

Somewhere out there, there was also a set of about half the marines squad, including Ripley, but neither Burke nor Gorman. I only ever managed to get Wierzebowski!

Okay after several days of painting and repainting I have have come up with this first the interior which is extremely difficult to paint due to the limitations of access and most of the interior is very dark with black consoles black chairs a charcoal black floor and a few lights and monitors scarred about especially around Gorman’s control console so here are the picturesIMG_8427.webpIMG_8428.webpIMG_8429.webpIMG_8430.webpIMG_8431.webpIMG_8432.webpIMG_8433.webp

And now the exterior view with itIMG_8419.webp all buttoned up the two yellow side lights were made by filling in the holes with Micro Krystal Klear letting it set hard so it formed a transparent cover then using a yellow Poska pen painted over it same with the small windscreen on the front again some Micro Krystal Klear this was painted with a blue Poska pen the main windshield was constructed using a piece of acetate painted on the inside with a mixture of blue and purple to try and give a sort of cinematic look to it the screen looks a bit shabby maybe one of the aliens that run it over splattered all over it and started eating into it other than that it was just given a sort of the weathered appearance a few little chips here & there some wear marks on the handles & ladder where people would’ve grabbed hold of them and burn marks on the main guns or laser cannons so that’s my 1/35 scale aliens APC M577IMG_8420.webpIMG_8421.webpIMG_8422.webpIMG_8423.webpIMG_8424.webp

Love this,
you made a good job of matching the colour and look of this beastie, I always wanted to build the 1/72 drop ship released by Halcyon years ago, but never got around to it... the prices on ebay etc are shocking nowadays..

That looks good. Considering the low parts count it looks to have some decent detail.
