What annoys me is that recently prostate cancer overtook breast cancer as the most commonly diagnosed form of cancer yet only last month the government/NHS decided it wasn't worthy of a national screening service........ It's just a simple blood test to get the ball rolling ffs

It must be a local NHS thing, here in North Lincolnshire I got a letter from my doctors surgery in the post asking me to book an appointment for a test, I had the DRE and PSA and now every three years book a further test.

Some authorities do, you must be one of the lucky ones but they have decided a national screening 'wouldn't be beneficial'
