No idea, I just found it when I searched for (IIRC) “StuG in bog Russia” and posted it :)

Its a very rare, very early G Dec 1942. You can tell as it still has the drivers side vision slit carried over from the F. This was quickly removed allowing a steeping angle of the superstructure. I think its been repainted and is still in Russia, superb!

Theres a T34 and a half track that where both pulled out of bogs/ lakes somewhere on YouTube

I think I left my build thread around here somewhere...

Just kidding guys, by all means carry on, it's all good stuff :smiling3:

Long day at work so only really had time to sort the seats. A bit of carving, painting and oil work and I think they look a bit more in keeping with the scruffy interior.

I might get an hour in tomorrow night so will sort that mould line on the gun sight that's bothering me.

Thanks Paul, that's a great compliment coming from someone with your painting skills.

After seeing the extra detail on JR's Zvezda version I thought it would be a good chance to try out my rivet making tool, kindly gifted to me by the awesome bilbo / Dom.

Not perfect but I'm happy for a first attempt. Maybe a little large but they were the smallest I could manage and the pretty much the same size as the recessed dimples Tamiya used.

And made a start on some bits for the interior. They need more work but the basic colours are down

should have slotted countersunk screws, the G has Bolts
Thanks Bob, I knew I'd come a cropper sooner or later trying to work above by knowledge and skill level lol.

Might be better to start again and stick to OOB, I might be able to manage that :smiling5:
