That's very nice Stephen. Water is not easy to model and moving water is even harder.
Water is a s*d to model. Steven, yours is excellent. Very well done. :thumb2:

ONE qeustion Steven where is the water comin from to fill the pool to feed the waterfall ? or is it a natural spring in the pool ?

I was going to ask the same question Chris. However, that doesn't spoil an excellent build.
I don't know what sort of scale you're working to Stephen, but I reckon a small group of about half-a-dozen figures - either civilians or soldiers of any era from ancient Rome to today - walking down that slope to our left of the fall would be brilliant. Just a thought.
Waterfall looks good Stephen. Not easy to get it stretched all the way down. I've only ever done short runs.

Hi everyone. True, I was thinking of those things when I built it. Is it going to be a spring or a pond filling from another river? I suppose I just decided to make it the way I did after considering what I'd have to do to accomodate what I wanted to put in. I wanted to put trees in and the rocks and I realised I would probably need to make the pond smaller if I was going to put a feeder stream in....if you know what I mean. I have also been thinking about how do I progress this and feel that I now need to start adding more action and civilisation to the model like people and houses and fences. To be honest, I haven't built it to any specific scale, just the size i was imagining. I'm not brilliant at interpreting 'scales', though I would love to gain a better understanding of how to do it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Speak soon folks!

I can't tell how big your waterfall is from the pictures, but as far as figures are concerned, anywhere between 1/56 (28mm) to 1/32 (54mm?) would look OK I think. If you use the smaller figures, then you give the impression it's a big waterfall and vice versa.
If you have a selection of figures, try them and see. If they look right then they are right!
I would also suggest keeping the number of figures small. A large number would indicate a well-used path with the grass worn away - which you haven't done. A small group could be explorers, or lost, or trying to escape by using unknown routes, and therefore the grass would still be there.
