View attachment 16039View attachment 16040Hello eveyone. As the title says i have made a slight boo boo . I've been trying to finish an airfix RED ARROW 1/48 scale. Been making it for about 3 months on and off. Well to cut a very long story short i made the mistake of putting masking tape over a decal which had a coat of klear on top of that.Took off said masking tape and with it 3 letters from the ROYAL AIR FORCE decal that goes all down the side.

Now for the begging part. Has anyone got 3 letter decals in white which are 5mm high in capitals with the letters O R C .

Any help would be apriciated.

Be tricky to match the font as it is quite a distinctive one. I would contact Airfix and ask them for another set. They should have some and it will be a perfect match, be a shame to spoil the work you have put into it without the correct finishing touches.

Thanks . I have e-mailed them this morning so i'll see how that goes. I just thought i would ask as if like me someone might have something in their scrape piles .The only other way i can think of is to buy another kit (but the wifey would castrate me). Use those decals and build one of the alternative schemes. I did contact airfix after christmas regarding a missing part and it took 5 months to reply to my e-mail . Thinking about it i might buy another kit. ( we have all the children we want and without my tackle i could wear some realy fetching speedos).

And a couple of nuts in the spares box to... sounds like a plan :laughing:

One thing, if you get another kit and Airfix do come up trumps, you would be able to do one of the other Arrows. They flew low over us today in V formation, amazing what you see in our garden lol
