I've built a few aoshima gt86 two are the rocket bunny versions

Another one proceeding rapidly but it's good to see some in progress shots.


As a big Toyota fan (I worked for them for many years) I lament the days when they made great sports cars.

With this (a Subaru in disguise) and the Supra (a hard top BMW Z4) I feel they have lost their edge in this sector.

had a few toyotas an ae 86 saloon GT4A wide body celica and breifly a lexus but that was needing to much done to it

i have the tamiya subaru version of this too

I assume you use an airbrush, eg: the dark side.... Lol.

no i never use an airbrush either rattle can or hand painted

Ah ok, nice work, do you use normal car spray paints? eg: the sort you would get in Halfords, not scale model specific ones, Tamiya, etc?

most are tamiya TS spray but have had some custom mixed by a company on ebay

I would have thought the Tamyia ones are more expensive, as they tend to be smaller cans don't they? but then again I can't remember the last time I bought a rattle can from Halfords, Lol, so what do I know!
They look good anyway, so thats all that matters in the end.....

tamiya ones are smaller i tend to get 2 1/24 cars from one can 2 cans for 1/12 scale i pay about £6.25 for a tamiya one however the surfacer and clear coat are £11.50 a can but slightly larger
